The Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) has released the Transition Collaborative Summative Report. This much anticipated report includes research and data on transition, recommendations for improving transition outcomes for students with disabilities in Washington, and more.
Since 2018, WSRC Executive Director, Shelby Satko, worked closely with WSRC Member and OSPI Director of Special Education, Tania May, and other state partners to develop an implementation plan for building statewide capacity among school districts. The goal of the collaborative is to improve transition planning activities for students likely to become eligible for services from the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA). Please see the report attached below for more information.
