Council Recruitment Notice

Recruitment is open for two representative positions: a Business representative and Community Rehabiliation Provider.

The Washington State Rehabilitation Council is a 16-member Governor-appointed board that promotes ongoing improvement within the vocational rehabilitation service system by:

  • Asking strategic questions and sustaining ongoing dialogue with DVR leaders about program performance, policy development, and other systemic issues;
  • Garnering input from DVR customers and community partners to assess satisfaction with services and partnerships;
  • Evaluating data to learn more about customer satisfaction, program performance, and systemic trends;
  • Developing policy recommendations; and,
  • Advocating for positive change.

WSRC Meeting Schedule

The WSRC holds four, two-day meetings per year (January, May, August, and November) in communities across the state.

WSRC Agency Partners

The WSRC is committed to being an active member of the disability advocacy community. Agency Partnerships allow us to gain perspectives, enhancing our advocacy for DVR customers. We have also focused considerable energy on coordinating, strengthening and forming new partnerships with all disability advocacy organizations.
