2024-2027 State Plan: Public Forum to be Held January 17, 2024

DSHS Division of Vocational Rehabilitation is preparing its State Plan for 2024-2027. This is the planning document that describes the agency’s goals, priorities, partnerships and activities to help individuals with disabilities achieve their employment goals.

DVR and the Washington State Rehabilitation Council invite you to comment on the new plan and participate in a public forum on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024. The forum will be held virtually, and public viewing will be available in three DVR offices. Details are listed below and flyers in English and Spanish are attached.

To view the current 2020-2023 DVR State Plan, go to the DVR website: www.dshs.wa.gov/dvr/dvr-state-plan. Beginning Dec. 22, 2023, you can return to this site to view the new 2024 - 2027 State Plan draft.

The2024-2027 State Plan will be open for public comment from Jan. 2-30, 2024. During this month you can provide feedback on the plan at any time by emailing DVRStatePlan@dshs.wa.gov. Additionally, you are welcome to join our public forum on Jan. 17, 2024 from 10- 11:30 a.m.

For individuals who do not have phone or internet access, viewings will be held from 10–11:30 a.m. at the following DVR office locations:
